The first round takes place from August 22 to 27, on the historical organs in Weener, Bellingwolde and Norden. It follows the final round on the new organ in Schnitger style (Hendrik Ahrend 2012) in the Zionskirche Worpswede and the organ with renaissance front (Ahrend and Brunzema 1961) in St. Martini Bremen. The highly endowed ”2nd Arp Schnitger Prize” will be granted (10.000 Euro), among others. The winners' recital will take place on September 2nd in Zionskirche Worpswede.
